Feb 23, 2015
HOLA! okkkay so what a fantastic week it was! Saturday was probs the best day of my life..wanna know why! Cause Carina se bautizoooo!! Woohoo! We had the most craziest week trying to figure out if her husband would be able to baptize her or not,,,just tons of drama with the bishop and stuff haha. But we fasted and prayed like crazy. We even called President for some advice. But the Lord works in mysterious ways and miracles were seen this week! Her baptism was Saturday night and all went flawlessly. Honestly not a thing went wrong, which is rare in the life of a missionary! Me and Hna Caballero got to watch her be baptized from the side view of the font and the spirit was amazing. As the hermano Benito spoke the words of the baptismal prayer, the spirit just hit me in the gut and made me so grateful to be a missionary and to be an instrument in the Lords hands to help people like Carina change their lives. She looked so beautiful in her white dress and I will never forget this day! She asked if she could keep this dress so she can where it when she get sealed to her fam in the temple one year from now!!!

SOO I was transferred and am officially in the zone ROCA! my area is called Cervantes. And we have about 3 or 4 members of the church here!! Soo we gotta a lot of work ahead of usss!! Its a cute lil town with fiellllds and fields! Im excited. And i am with my first gringa! My companion is Hermana Houston from Saint George Ut and is so sweet. So I'm senior comp so thats kewl!

Last night was so hard saying by to my sweet little Centenario home. I got a lil emotional giving my testimony to the ward. And a lil mooore emotional saying by to Carina and her husband Franciso and their 3 beautiful kids. I love them so much and promised them that Im gunna visit them some day...sorry mom and dad. I love being a part of this work and seeing the change in peoples lives. And the change in myself as well. I am so much aware of the way the spirit works in my life and the love my Savior has for each one of us. This church is true yall! I really hope you're all being good and reading your scriptures every day. Its a commandment ya know. Until next week!! And soo sorry about no pics of the baptism...I will send next week!

Well hello there! Looks like you all had a great week in NC!! I literally have the prettiest sisters and mama in the world. And the cutest niece and neph!! Loved Vday pics. Well another great week has passed here! I am officially in week 6 of this transfer, and I believe that I will probs be transferred a week from today! So we will see! Bittersweet cause I love my comp and Centenario oh so much! But excited for the adventures to come.

So my poor comp never went to the dentist when she was younger so she had some pretty bad cavities that we went to get fixed in neuquen this week. And then yesterday morning she had the worst pains in her teeth and it was so bad and kinds scary. So the awesome elders came over early in the morn yesterday to give her a blessing. She was supposed to have a talk in sacrament too, but she could hardly talk without saying oww or without holding her face. SOoo I ended up writing a lil talk in 5 mins and gave it in sacrament wohhoo! on the Attribute of Christ so that is always fun! Anyways long story short, we ended up going to the hospital at 11 last night and didn't get home til 2!! My poor comp! I feel so bad when my companions are sick its the saddest thing. So she got a shot to like numb it so shes totally fine now, but were scared that the pain is gunna come baccck! oh no. SO yeah that was last nights story!!

Weve just really been focusing on Carina! Her baptism is scheduled for this Saturday and ahhh I am so so excited! My first baptism guys!! I could cry. I do cry cause I'm so excited! haha. So remember how he husband is a recent convert and is preparing to get the priesthood to baptize her?...wellll we found out from the bishop that he cant receive the priesthood cause hes not paying his tithing. So that's a bummer. and apparently this family doesn't know all of this news yet...so tonight in FHE we are planning on telling them in the nicest way possible. This will be a test of Carinas faith...if she is really doing this for herself and because she has a testimony she will go through with her baptism on Saturday and have someone from the ward baptize her! So we are fasting and praying and striving to be so obedient. Keep the Pazz fam in your prayers. I love them so much!!

Not too much has happened...same old same old! oh I dyed my hair! In the pics I'm sending was before I dyed it. But its pretty much just my super natural color...without any trace of orange so that's good!

I love you all tons! I am so lucky to be part of the Farrow family. Thank you to my wonderful parents for being my examples and being the kind of people I want to become. I miss hugs from my mama and I miss awesome Kevlar advice from my daddy. And I miss my sistaaas so so much! And you too Blakey..thanks for your example of a consecrated missionary and for always sending your love my way. My testimony is growing each and every day as I put my faith in the Lord. I have never felt so close to his love in my life and the feelings of peace are reals that come from His atonement. I love Him and feel this is the least I can do to show my love and thanks to Him. This gospel is so true and there is nothing like testifying my My Savior each day. I love this work! Until next week!

Hey Guys!

Another grrreat week has passed! And by the way thank you all for congratulating me on my 6th month mark..but its actually 5 months hehe! But wooohoo! Wow cant believe Ally Haynie is already home and Taylor Finnel too! Time for reals goes by so quick!!  Cant believe it!

Sooo basically I don´t have too much to say! Pretty much all the same stuff! We are hoping and praying and fasting for our investigator Carina to be baptized the 21 of this month and her husband Fransico to receive the Priesthood to baptize her!! This family is adorable and she is amazing and so prepared. I love seeing their family family walk into the chapel. The kids love their primary classes and Carina is so eager to learn and is learning so fast and her testimony is growing ever day! I gave her one of my skirts cause so she didn't have to wear jeans and she is so cute and looked so beautiful yesterday in her church clothes! I love teaching her and testifying to her about the plan of salvation and eternal families! And she is so excited to one day be sealed in the temple!! So keep this fam in your prayers...that he can prepare to receive the priesthood and she can be baptized at the end of this month! Transfers are on the 23 of this month and I so badly want to be here for this baptism...my first baptism! we will seee!!!

We had such an awesome spirit filled lesson with a man Eduardo and his less active wife Erica on Saturday. Man i don't have too much time to give all the detail...but basically we were all crying and the spirit was undeniable. He is super indecisive and have been meeting with the missionaries for over a year now.We put a baptism date for the 14 of March and he accepted so we will seeee! Such a cool lesson ahhh I love it.

Wish I could just tell you about all of these experiences Im having cause really there aren't many words to put about how special they are to me. I love these people and Centenario! I probs only have 2 weeks left here and I am a lil sad cause I am getting so close to the members and my comp and my district is so fun but I know there are great things in store! I love Argentina and the craziest things happen every day hahaha its so ghetto and some people are so mean and yell at us and its so dirty and trash everywhere and so so hot but I love it. Life is good and we are so blessed. I love my Savior and love the knowledge I gain each day form reading the book of mormon. For reals its my new favorite book to read. You all should try it hehe. Love you all and hope you have a fabulous week! PS Hna Cab is dying my hair in a few hours and Im so scared but its chill. a lil blonder cause right now its like orange and brown hahaha oh boy. And we are going to the church with the elders to eat this peruvian dish called ceviche and its uncooked fish...but you put lemon and salt on it and it like chemically cooks it or something hahaha oh my. All the elders are latinos and they're all so excited to eat it so i guess i am too! haha hasta luego

Feb. 2, 2015

me and Candelaria!! daughter of carina my investigator. shes 6 and so adorbale i want to eat her but i cant!!!!!!!!

me and my beautiful companion yesterdayyy

Hello such a grrrreat week I had! and sounds like you all did too! My sister is gunnna be famous!  Bailey cant believe you made it to the voice. If they interview you, you better talk about me and tell them I was your singing coach Also shout out to baby Emery for turning 1 last week! Love you lil girl!!

Ohhh where to begin. Okay so as I was saying last week..our newest investigator is Carina! Shes 32 and has 3 lil kids and her husband is the recent convert of Hna Caballero form her last area! SO basically its a miracle that we found this family and that he decided to move to Centenario. The Lord really has put miracles in our day to day lives. For some great reason...we see this family walking on the street every day and the kids all run up to us and it is just always perfect timing. Carina accepted the date for the 21 to be baptised!! Transfers are the 23 so if I leave..Ill be here for her baptism just in the nick of time. She is so awesome and so prepared. I absolutely love this family and have only known them for 2 weeks and I feel so close and attached to them. They are so special and I am praying that all goes well and that we really can have this baptism! We have an awesome FHE planned for tonight to have a picnic in the park with them and gunna talk about the priesthood...cause the husband, Fransisco is preparing to receive the priesthood to baptise his wife!!! ahhhh so excited!!! We have a white baptismal dress that we found in our apartment that will work perfect for her and we have it hanging up so we see it every single day to motivate us!

Ahh what else. oh yesss last Pday we went to Neuquen and we went into this mall to buy insert thingies for hna caballero and ommmg i was in heaven and haven't been in a place with an air conditioner and stores and clothes and shoes in ages it was so amazing! Oh and they had McDonald's there,  so obviously we had to get mcflurrys and kids meals.  So fun.

Oh yeah and also a few nights this week I woke myself up in the middle of the night speaking Spanish in my sleep!  hahaha so that's a good sign!! The Spanish is coming you guys!! oh and when its hna caballeros turn to say the prayer before bed..she says it in English to practice.  SO last night I wanted to try in English too for fun and it was soo hard hahah I got all the words mixed up and English is just weird.

Oh and I am teaching English to a cute lil girl named Augustina who's 10 and so sweet and also to this family that we are teaching! so much fun.

I love what I do. There are hard days and I make many mistakes and at times I get down on myself. But that is when I think of my purpose as a missionary, which is to invite OTHERS to come unto Christ. When I put my own desires and wants and doubts and feeling behind me and focus on the work and have the eyes to see miracle in my day, this is when I am blessed and this is when I feel like a true servant of my Savior. I love you all and hope you have a fantastic week!

Love,
Hermana Farrow
