hi yall happy Independence dayz lol! so I love you guys so much! this week was a great one! so first, lil shout out to baby brin for getting knocked in the cabeza these week! tough lil girl. another long week has passed down here in the patagonia! sure was a real good one!

So on Tuesday this week we didn't have lunch with a member, so we decided we were gunna make some lunch..so we decided to boil some beans on the stove, and then leave to go do contacts, and then we were gunna come back so theyd be just fresh and ready to eat!! So we were just contacting...and we both got some lil promptings from the spirit to go back to check on the beans, but we were having a lot of success, so we thought it was fine. SO anyways, like 3 hours later we come back with a apartment fullllll of smoke. i was surprised it didnt burn down hahaha. and the fire alarm thing didnt even go off, so that just goes to show how safe it is haha. but anyways crazyyy stuffff! Everytime we come home to the apartment now its like walkin into a casino haha. its bad. but we learned our lesson to never leave beans cooking and to always listen to the spirit!

Also this week I went to Hna Packards area and we spent the whole daytoghther just workin no mas! shes a superb missionary and just has no fear! shes a good example to me and it was fun catching up and telling old san marcos stories.

Soo like I said before, we are now workin in 2 areas, so our area is gigantooo. So we decided to contact some super rich crazy nice neighborhoods. And like for the most part, people weren't super nice and we kinda stuck up and what not, buuut we did find this super sweet fam!!! They are from buenos aires and have 3 boys and the kids are all super respectful..which is like hard to find from Argentine boys lol but for real. So yeahhh that was exciting! We also found another fam who lives in a more humble house and they are coool and we are gunna work with them more this week.

So ya know how argentina is super big with futbol. Well there was a soccer game between arge and chile this week on Saturday! And Chile and arge are like super rivals, so we had to stay inside the apartment for those few hours during the game haha. Casue the people get pretty cray. Chile won btw. Alsoooo it was my first 4th of july wearing a scarf! me and my comp dressed up in twinsie outfits. and then today on our pday us and the district celebrated and grilled up some hot dogs and french fries and salads and had a nice American bbq! fun stuffff. love my district

annnnd last but not least, our new Pres has arrived! President Casariego! from uruguaY! hes so great and chillll haha. I got to talk to him for a good 5 mins this week and he was so stoked I'm from sandy eggo and hes like oh we've been there a few times! We love the temple there! hes super great and so pumped to be here.

I cant think of too much other stufffs to tell ya guys! I hope oyu have an awesome week. We have a big meeting tomorrow with the leaders of the mish so that will be exciting! dang i wish i could just give you all the details, but that will just have to wait. Just know I am happy and do so well! love you all. and hey brit,,,thanks for that onion email! love you so much sister!

HEYYY fam hows it going! Hey happy fathers day shout out to the one and only KEVLAR!!! sure love you pops! Hope you just had the happiest day evs. Seeing all those jet ski pics made me so happy /sad haha looks like you guys are just soakin up the summer sun and having a blast! Oh and hey nanny and bompa!! I got your package this week! thank you oh so much! the chocolate berries were so delish and I'm wearing the skirt and shirt you got for me!  So THANK YOU!

Not too much happened this week! Me and my companion, Hna Terry are getting along super well..we probs have a lil too much fun haha but we get the work done. Since her area closed, we now are working in 2 areas another old one and mine) so it's like extra big and it's a lil crazzzy managing all these people in both area but its all good! We are beginning to plan better each day so we can work better and use our time more wisely. We are in the process of finding investigators. we have so many potentials but just none that are progressing. But we are workin and workin and I know miracles will follow. We see miracles and lil tender mercies on the daily when we strive to do the Lords will. God is so good and I am learning that I am only happy when I choose to follow His will and trust in Him, even when it seems scary or something that I totes don't want to say or do. But ya know what, when you follow Him, everything just turns out so great and even better than you can imagine! Guys I love my mission. It really is a roller coaster of ups and downs and really is the most emotionally trying thing I've ever been through, But I am becoming a changed person and I beginning to truly understand my Savior. I know He understands me and I can't begin to put into words the way I feel about His love and perfect example He has atoned for me and each one of us. Turn to Him when you are feeling down. He is the fountain of truth and peace. The only true happiness comes from following the example of the Savior and living His gospel. Not just knowing His gospel, but living it. I love the experiences I am having each day, the people I am meeting, and the memories I am making. Wow that sounded so gay haha but its so true. We have the craziest things that happen to us each day. Like drunk guys that come up to us on the streets and call us baby and want us to teach them English hahaha. I'm doing great here in the Tina. I sure miss my fam! I love you all so much. Don't ever forget how special you are to your Heavenly Father! He loves you so much! Hope you have a fantastic week. les amo muchooo!

Hermana Meyers returns

Helllo everyone como estannn?! I hope you all just had a fabulous week! I know I sure did. But really, it was a great week here in this part of the world! But first some SHOUTOUTS to mother and father dear!! Happy anniversary you two love birds! 28 years and still going strong. SO proud. Love you two! And BAILLS my beloved little sister I am so proud of you for graduating and making it out alive! You did it yayyyy! The best years are right around the corner hehe. Love you sister.

But yeppp here we go! So this week was a good one! I've been focusing a lot lately on the talk Converted unto the Lord from Elder Ballard. Its so great and talks about the difference of just having a testimony of the gospel, and from being converted unto the Lord. If you have 5 mins this week, go read it!! Anyways, I have been tired of trying to be super obedient and teaching lessons and not seeing progress with investigators. Like why do they not progress?! But I realized that just by trying to be obedient and going through the motions wasn't enough. The Lord doesn't require perfection, but I know I am part of HIS work and it need to give it my all..or in other words work with all my heart might mind and strength like it says soo many times in the scriptures. My comp and I decided to fast this week because I had no doubt in my mind that it we did, we would see a miracle. So we fasted on Wednesday, and wouldn't ya know, the Lord keeps his promises! That night we were coming home from a long day of work without having much success. We decided to go by a lady's house who we had contacted a few weeks ago. We knocked and she opened the door and totally invited us in. We began talking and she told us that she is searching for the truth, or searching for something to believe in. I wish ya'll could see the smile on me and my comps faces! She just had a baby 3 months ago and is the sweetest lil lady! the only thing is she is not married. But we couldn't stay for long, so we came back the next day and taught her t restoration and it went super well! We did not invite her to be baptized because for some reason it did not feel like the right timing, but we have a lesson planned with her tomorrow so I am excited! Keep Adriana in your prayers!! Just another testimony builder that Heavenly Father hears our pleas and answers our prayers.

We had stake conference this Saturday and Sunday and it was super good and uplifting. It was all about Sabbath day observance and the importance of not getting offended by others (not letting that keep you from going to church). Because that is a huge problem here haha. We are working with many less actives!!

Oh and remember one of my MTC comps, hermana Myers, well she went home in the very first transfer due to a concussion. But shes totally healed and came back this week and is in my zone!!  i saw her on Sunday and it was soo good ot talk to her!!

I think Marisol sent you pics mama, but yesterday we went to her house and had an asado! And guess what guys, I ATE GOAT and it was delicious. Ill attach a pic of me simply manning the bbq.

Well fam I believe that is all for now! Just here down in Neuquen in the cold but I'm all smiles. I am doing well and the work is coming along. We are going bowling as a zone today so that'll be funnnn! Have a great week and go read that talk!! Love you all!

okay

hi errrryone! happy JUNNNE. I realized this time last year I opened my mission call WHAT. crazy. but hey this was a real goood week! SO yeah as you know we were on the radio this week hahah that was super funnn! If you couldn't understand everything...we were talking about the capilla abierta that we were having the next day!! SO yeah Saturday we opened the doors of the church to the public (not like there not always open to the public..but you get it) and basically it was so fun and cool. We gave tours of the chapel and basically it would be so fun to be a missionary at temple square. but nothin beat neuquen argentina, so I'm not complaining. Also this week, I read in preach my gospel about one of the ways to find new investigators (because this is something we obvi need) is to teach them the restoration and then ask for references. SOO I busted out the lil wooden blocks the awesome mr gru made me and we went and taught all the members and it wasa success and preach my gospel doesnt lie cause we got a lota sweet referencias and stuff. But yeaaah also we are focusing on the BOM this week with our investigators, less actives and members because as joe smith once said, this is the way for a man to get closer to teh Lord! So we are doing this! I am striving to be a good example and trainer to my lil comp! She is progressing so nicely hehe but she is great and obvi we have our differences but I pray to see the good in her and it is workinnn! Well fam I'm kinda outa time but all is well here in Limay!! I am happy and this week is going to be a good one and I know miracles will be seen! Oh yeah and I think Marisol sent you guys a vid on facebook haha??

Another great week has passed us by! Well transfers went down today! Hna Rocha got transferred to San Martin, the prettiest place in the mission. She was super sad to leave and totes cried this morning saying by. It was a crazy transfer and one Ill remember forever that's for sure haha! But a very very good one and I learned tons! And hey I am going to be training this transfer!! So I will meet/get my new comp on Thursday! Supper duper pumped and so excited. Latina or gringa?! we will seeee.

So this week was so so awesome. SO much happened I don't know where to begin! We had exchanges this week and the sweet lil Hna Narvaez came to Limay and we worked together. Shes from Colombia and it was so fun just to preach the good word together. We had such a successful day and saw miracles and we have an awesome new investigator named Pedro who has a baptismal date for the 13 of June. Exchanges are fun and I always love em

I had a super kewwwl experience this week that was super kewwl. So I got a lil sick this week for the very first time in the mish. Just this super bad headache and stuff (don't worry mom im fine). But anyways the nurse of the mish gave me some suggestions of what to do, and then said ya know the best medicine is a Priesthood blessing. But I kinda felt dumb calling the elders and asking them cause like I wasn't dying or anything, but I thought hey why not. Soo a lil while later 4 elders came over to the apartment and oh man 2 of them being the assistants cause they're in my district ya know. So embarrassing cause I had just woken up and looked awesome haha but its fine. Anyways they all came in and I asked on of the APs to give the blessing. He asked if I would like it in English, so that was super nice! Such an awesome blessing and he said some pretty neat stuff that was just what I needed to hear, like my Father in Heaven is so pleased with who I am becoming and that the work Ive done is incredible. And hey the Priesthood is restored cause I felt so much better the next morn and I am back to work mode!!

On Sunday we got to see the dedication of the new temple in Cordoba Argentina!! For reals it was soo sweet and Pres Uchtdorf came and gave an awesome talk. I loved it and so cool to have 2 temples in Argentina now! Now we just need one in Neuquen. One day for sure.

Well fam that's pretty much all for now! I'm super pumped for this upcoming week and to begin training! And soo excited for all of you and the wedding on Saturday! wooohooo! Ill be looking forward to Monday to see all the pics! so please send many! I love you all and you are in my prayers every day. Thank you for your love and prayers every day!! they are definitely felt over here on this side of the world.

ps okay so remember that one Utah girl who was serving a mish in argentina and she died on her mission...okay welll at a members house yesterday, i saw a pic of this missionary, and you guys I totally met her in the mtc! and it totally broke my heart to find out it was her who passed away. wow for reals cant believe it! how sad for her fam. But yep totally remember her! Love you allll!

Hi guys! long time no talk jk talked to you all last night and it was the best thing in the world! For reals pretty sure that was the best 2 hours of my life haha. LOVE YOU all. I sure am a lucky girl to have parents and grandparents and sibs and cousins like you all! Goood times.

Well not too much to write! Im excited for this upcoming week! We are in the 6th week of this transfer. I cant believe how fast this one flew by. So probs Hna Rocha will be transferred and Ill stay here in good ole Limay! So next week you'll be hearing about my new comp and all that jazz! Today we have a pday with the whole zone so well have a big soccer game in about an hour and I'm pumped. Then exchanges with the hermana leaders tonight so thats always fun!

HELLO! Hey everyone!!! whats goin onnnn. sounds like you all had a fun week..watching a boxing match and all. cant believe its already MAY?! que loco no? for reals where has the time gone. ANd bails is gradutating next month and my lil brother is getting married in like 20 days WHATTT.

Anyways this has been one real good weeek! Hna Resquin went home! Yeaaah president called us and was like you are going home tomorrow hna resquin. SO yeah now its just back to me and good ole hna rocha and for that I am so thankful because trios are a lil crazy but all is well now and we are working well together which is such a blessing and we are getting super close. Love her. Im excited for you guys to meet her when we skype hahaha I am teaching her English so she can say hi. We are excited.

Alrighty sooo on Thursday we had the AMAZING opportunity to go see Meet the Mormons and invite like everyone (investigators and less actives and members and randoms on the street) to come. And it was SUCH a success. The whole theater was fullll. And the movie was so great. But wanna know the best part...I saw my bestest friends in the mission like Hna Caballero! ANd ANyta (the girl who was baptized in Cervantes) and members from Cervantes and Centenario and omg it was the greatest night of my life seeing everyone! I don't think Ive had a happier day in the mission! Cant imagine how Heaven will be with all the reunions of loved ones and what not.

Also we had this new investigator, Walter!! Hes like 70 and super kewl. SO we were in a lesson with him this week and we{re talking and explaining the plan of salvation and all the sudden he stops us and asks, Why do you smile so much? He told us he felt uncomfortable cause we were smiling and so happy hahaha but oh man. The only answer we could think of to tell him was that we have the gospel in our lives and we are happy people!! So Hna Resquin whispered to me that I need to stop smiling in the lesson because he felt uncomfortable. Its hard to teach and not smile. But anyways Walter is such a good man. He wanted to guess how old we are, so he thought hna rocha was 40 and thought I was 32 HAHAHA oh my goodness it was the funniest thing cause he was dead serious. But ahh I love him and he told me he felt so much calmness come over him while we were teaching him and for the first time in a while his head didnt hurt! SO I was like this is the Holy Ghost, The spirit of God!! ANd he was like is it really?! and Im like yesss. He thought that was super cool and so did I cause it confirms to me that I am doing my job!

Cant really think of too much else that happened this week. The days all just mush together and for reals cant believe how quick its going by. I am doing good and smiling everyday, even if it makes people feel uncomfortable haha. Life is good and I feel ever so blessed to be on a mission in this crazy city of Neuquen. I love it. The ups and downs and twist and turns. Its all so worth it because there truly is no feeling in the world like being a representative of Jesus Christ and testifying of his life and perfect example.Hey if you're having a hard or sad or bad day, go out and help someone and I promise you'll be happy! I love you all so so much and am so happy to be Hermana Farrow! I{ll be talking to you all on Sunday! At like 4 or 5 my time okay!
