tengo gozo en mi alma!

GOING TO MISS THESE LETTERS!!!!  This is her last one!!!  We will see her in 7 days;)
we went to a dinosaur museum last mondaY!!!!!!

knock and ye shall recieve lol

Hi family! I love you all. I am so happy

Just want you all to know that I know God lives!! This is His work. I am His servant and missionary. And I have had the most incredible experience laboring in His vineyard in these past 18 months! Argentina is a Holy land. I am so blessed! We had such a goood week! We bussed it over to Neuquen on Wednesday to watch a broadcast from Buenos Aires. Elder Bednar spoke to all the misisonaries in argie, Chile, Paraguay, and Uruguay. He is so awesome and filled me with peace and joyyy!! The spirit definitely taught me a bunch of things as I listened to him speak. One thing that hit me is that our investigators are AGENTS, not objects. Sometimes I forget that they have agency and I want them to progress and understand everything at once. But if that happened, they would never learn the principle of faith, nor would they go through the process of conversion and their change would not last. I am learning the importance of praying with real intention (for myself and investigators). Real intention means that we are not only desirous to receive and answer from God, but that we are willing to act according to what we receive. Jospeh Smith didn't go to the sacred grove to pray to know which church was true, he went to pray to know which curch was true so he COULD JOIN IT.!!! Faith requires action! I have been humbled this week as I have received answers to my prayers and pleadings. I love the Lord!

We are workin to hard with Jose!! He has so much potential and will some day be a leader in the church here in Rincon. He just lacks faith and hasn't recognized that God is speaking to him! The Lord works little by little and the gospel is simple. I think we are the ones who complicate things and fail to recognize the hand of the Lord in our lives. We have a plan to share D & C 6 with him tonight...when Christ speaks to Oliver Cowdrey and tells him to think back to that night when he felt peace in his heart! There is no greater witness than the peace we feel. We just gotta be humble. Sorry I don't really know where this email is going. Theres a bunch of things on my mind haha. Pero mas que nada I am just so happy and feel so at peace! GUYS I cant believe the most incredible chapter of my life is coming to an end! So bittersweet. My heart is full of gratitude towards my Father in Heaven for all of the things He has allowed to learn, for allowing me to be part of the conversion of His children, for His trust in me, for allowing me to see miracles day after day and for teaching me the importance of service. I love being a missionary. I truly do and I have been blessed in ways I never thought were possible. Thank you mom and dad for giving me this chance to serve my brothers and sisters. There is nothing greater than being in the service of God as a full time missionary. En serio. I could go on and on. But I´ll save that for when I see yall in person! The church is true! I love you all! Thanks for bein faithful and writing me and not leavin me sola. NOS VEMOS MUY PRONTITO! LES AMO!!!

Blazing the Trail

Down to one more letter.  This was to me one of the best letters we've ever received from her.

HELLLO dear family. we had such a great week! Seriously we are seeing miracles. its SO COOOL and exciting. The Lord loves us :) okay so my Heavenly Father is helping me out a lot by allowing me to see my weaknesses and giving me trials. I am such an imperfect person. The Lord is molding me into someone more like His perfect son Jesus Christ. I am learning so much as I recognize my sins and mistakes that I make each day, as little or as big as they may be. I absolutely love serving Gods children. it makes so so happy.

Our investigator Jose now has come to church 6 times. He is so special. He says he will be baptized when he receives an answer if the church is true. The thing is....he has ALREADY received that answer. The whole last week we talked to him about revelation and the way the spirit works and how the Lord answers our prayers. His heart is changing! We fasted for him yesterday. He alos attempted to fast. He has a baptismal date for next saturday the 27. I am determined that the Lord will put an answer or a feeling or something into his heart this week! I know He will.

We also met some sweeeeet people this week! Basically, they contacted us. This man named Hector was walking towards us on the street and passed us...then came back and asked if we were missionaries from the iglasia de jesucristo de los santos de los ULTIMOS TIEMPOS haha lol but we were like yesssss we sure are!! he is super interested in the mormon religion and we totally gave him a BOM. This whole week he has texted us and told us he's reading it along with the Bible, and this morn he texted us and said he wants us to come over and help with his doubts! wooohoo. We have a new investigator named Nury from the dominican rep and she's so cool and used to go to church back in her country. she came with us to church yesterday! We taught the young women's class yesterday about treating our body like a temple. Made me miss my sweet lil hermanitas at home and also my lil beehives that i used to teach way back when. I am doing great and im very happy. just boppin along here in rincon de los sauces! I love you and wish you a marvelous week. remember who loves ya! (me hehe) and jesus

Love,
Hermana Farrow

just some pics from yesterday. we had lunch with our investigator Jose and his fam after church!

this is just me manning the asado. look at all thats yummmmy meat :D

otra semana ya paso

me and some of my hermana friends!!! remember hermana rocha...in the middle..she was my comp back in Neuquen when we skyped on mothers day

hike on our pday to el Cristo

view of rincon de los sauces

just me posing on a hot summer day lol
Two more pdays folks.....and we will be with our daughter.  A day does not go by that I am just day dreaming of just staring at her and hugging her and talking to her!!!!!   Love this sweet missionary of mine. We move on the 1st of March, head to Argentina on the 4th, come home to SD on the 15th....have her homecoming on the 20th.   Crazy timing, right!!!!!!

Enjoy one of the last letter;)....gunna miss these for sure!

Well hi there. Happy valentines day yesterday mis amores! Hope y'all ate some good crab and kept the farrow tradition going. remember when you guys all ate the crab and I ate like chicken nuggets or something hahaha oh man. BUENO we had a gooood week!! We had zone training this week here in rincon de los sauces. The zone all came and we had a good time! Being a leader in the mission helps me a lot. I cant just bear testimony about something...i have to live it and have to apply the things i am telling others to do. We had such a good conference all together. At the end, the zone leaders asked me to bare my final testimony in front of the zone :( the craziest and most peaceful feeling were going through my mind and heart. I literally never thought these days would come when I would be finishing the mission. Haha so hard to explain but im sure others can relate. Such an honor baring testimony of my Savior and His work to my fellllow missionaries! Coolest experience that i´ll remember forever.

My comp and I are doing well and just working so hard. The Lord blesses me with the ability to focus on my investigators. Our investigator Jose who's 19 is so grrreat but we have kinda hit a brick wall with him! Its been so hard because he hasn't received a confirmation from the spirit yet. he read past 2nd Nephi in one week. He so badly wants to FEEEEEL something for himself. I know that through his patience and verdarera intencion en sus oraciones he will be able to feel something. Yesterday in church he told us that once he receives his answer, he will be baptized :)

Love you my dear fam.

went on a lil run/hike to the CRISTO this morn! fitness

Love being a Missionary

and me and my cute friends mariapaz and ludmila!! we talked about the importance of prayer yesterday, so they insisted we do a prayer pose
kickin it in argie
HEY family!!! Oh how I love you all! thank you for the emails!

hahaha I am here laughing because I think everyone of you in these past few weeks have told me you've had a dream about me. I feel so special! thanks for thinking/dreaming about me.  Man this week was gooood. Seriously these weeks are flying by and so much good stuff is going dowwwwwnn! We met some fantastic nuevos investigadores esta semana. The cutest lil 11 year old girl who is oh so prepared. She is reading teh BOM every day and wants us to come by eveyrday to teach her. Her parents are not too fond of listening to what we have to share, which makes me soo sad because they are robbing their daughter of so many amazing blessing by  not letting her come to church. But its okay tengamos fe!

Last night we had a lesson with the  lil bro of our invstogators that were baptized. He's 16 and so great but has soo many issues its so sad. He has so many doubts about the bom and jospeh smith. The spirit totes left the room..so much contention. I've leared the only effective thing we can do in these moments is to testify of the truthfulness of our message. People can argue all they want, but when it comes to a testimony, theres not much more to say.

I LOVE BEIN A MISSIONARY its so fun and stressful but so great. I wish You all a great week. sorry this email is so lame

My Last Transfer!!!!

Well hey there my lovely family, hows it going?  Today is transfer monday pero POR SUERTE me and hna dandaluz are staying together here in Rincon!!! Woooohooo!!!   For my last transfer OMG. How scary/exciting!! Last night as I was praying before going to bed, an awesome adrenaline was put into me and I got so excited to serve and give it my all in these last 6 weeks as a missionary! The Lord is blessing me and we have some good things/plans/goals for this transfer. We are going to see miracles! Im excited. OH first offf HAPPPY 2nd BDAY to my lil Emery baby on wednesday!!! Love you so much my sobrinita!! Cant wait to hold my lil Em and Cam!

Okay so this week has been so terribly HOT. The sun is insane and it kills. But we are still alive! We worked tons this week. One day this week, all of our lessons fell through and it was about 3 pm and we were walking around in the street trying to find people. In argentina at 3 pm, you will not find anyone because this is the time when they have their ¨siesta¨ (nap). We were a lil discouraged and hot and tired. We sat down under a tree and talked for a sec and decided, well the only thing we can do right now is pray and have faith that we will be led to an awesome person. So we did just that. After the prayer we both got the impression to contact a street. After a few houses we didnt find anyone. But then we saw this blue house!  We walked over and clapped (cause they dont have doorbells obvi). A lady named Marina walks out!  We began talking with her about God and she got tears in her eyes and invited us in. ¨Quieren pasar?¨ seriously was music to our ears and such a fast response to our prayer!  We taught her the first lesson and  she says shes been thinkin that she needs to be baptized again because her first baptism wasn't the greatest. And then at the end of the lesson....wait it gets even better..we saw a pic of a lady and she told us it was her mom. and we realized her mom is a member of our branch who was baptized a year ago! We had visited her mom a week earlier and were talking to her about sharing the gospel with her children and grandchildren, but she told us that none of them would be interested. But  little did she know that the Lord would guide us to her daughters house the week later!  WOohoo miracles are reals and theres no doubt that this is the Lords work!

Loooove my fam and friends! Wish you all a great week.

me and my comp picked a scripture to memorize and be the theme for this transfer. 2 nephi 31:20. good stuff

Busy Week

I love teaching in Rincon de los Sauces

my pals Manuel and Ana that were baptized last saturday. love em dearly!

HI FAMILY!!!!!!!! We had an awesome week!! Today marks the last week of this transfer. CRAZY how hast that one flew by. But hey I got one more left so its all good. Okay i don't have that much time to write everything but we had such a good week. Our investigators Ana and Manuel had a baptismal date for Saturday, so we were preparing them this whole week! Ana still working on some things and I was doubting that she'd be able to be baptized. But something changed. We realized that the way she would change is only through the spirit. Every lesson that we taught this week we made sure we entered and taught with the spirit. She decided to quit smoking for good and promised she wouldn't do it! The Lord is so good. Her and her son Manuel were baptized on Saturday!!! It seriously was so beautiful. I think I was the happiest person in the world to watch my friends be baptized. SO much feilicidad. Maunel is 19 and such a stud and wants to be a missionary. The spirit changes people!!

Also, hmm what else.. There's a Jehovah's witness that's like 30 and super creepy and always sees us on the street preaching and he shows us vids on his lil ipad thing haha. He came up to me one day and said I have a present for you..and gave me a bag. I opened it after he left and it was a bible guide book and a teddy bear. HAHA. oh my. at least he spends his days serving the Lord.

Rincon de los Sauces is so great. The members here are few but are the best. The branch presidency is so awesome and is happy with the work we are doing. I love this work. I just want everyone to be happy and hear about the gospel! The coolest thing about being a missionary is being able to open to door to the Celestial Kingdom for these people. It is so special to me. I love you my dear fam. Be good and trust in God!

pon tu hombro a la lid

HI fam como estan todos? Espero que todos hayan tenido una linda semana. I know debs and kevlar did. I wanna go to the BEACH. hahaha i seriously miss swimming so much. but whatevs.

THIS WEEK WAS SO GOOD. We are just working our lil tails off, and then we wait, and the Lord provides. We have a  year old investigator named Manuel who is totally prepared! We are teaching him and his mama Ana. They both smoke :( But after we showed the restoration vid to Manuel, he decided he is never gunna smoke again! And he hasn't for 2 days now and that is so exciting! If everything goes right, they will be baptized on Saturday. Pray for them! We are preparing a few other people to be baptized the next Saturday! woohoo! hey ps before i forget..i try to send pics but it doesn't work for some reason. Sorry! just imagine me

We had a leadership council in Neuquen this week! So good to see old comps/missionary friends! Seriously so fun. The Lord has blessed me and my comp and the two elders here in Rincon de los Sauces. We are having so much success and the assistants and president were super pleased with us. We give all our success to the Lord.

I was looking back at my old diary from the MTC and first area this week. All I wanted to do was be a good lil missionary and I wanted the Lord to be pleased with me. I just wanted to help others and be so happy! And most importantly, I wanted to understand the atonement and come to know the Savior. Over these past  months i have learned so so much. I love my Savior and I will never get tired of testifying of His infinite love for us. I got emotional this morning in my personal study when I read

3 Nephi 16   ¨ And it shall come to pass, that whoso repented and is baptized in my name shall be filled; and if he endureth to the end, behold, him will I hold guiltless before my Father at that day when I shall stand to judge the world.¨

If we are humble enough and have faith and just keep on trying, we will be able to stand before God one day, and the Savior of the world will hold us guiltless. In Spanish it says ¨innocent¨. What a miracle that is. I hope you all have a wonderful week and remember that daily repentance is what makes all the difference. I love seeing changes in others, it helps my faith grow. God lives and loves us so!

Feliz Ano Nuevo

Fun way to celebrate the New Year....on top of the world.

Bienvendio 2016! can you believe it we are already in a new year. how cool! hi family! I sure love and miss you! this week was a good one...full of uppppps and downs. A lot of downs, but a lot more ups!!

We had an awesome new year. We didn't get invited to eat dinner on new years eve haha its whateves . So we decided to kick it in the pensh! We took a nap and it was so great!!! Then we made a nice dinner and watched some church films hehe. Quite the party. The next day a guy in our ward took us to a cool lookout point thing on top of a mountain! super pretty!

Ahh what else. We are seeing so many miracles. Our investigators are progressing. Between us and the elders, we had 12 investigators in church yesterday! It was such a miracle and blessing! We asked ourselves yesterday walking home from church..what are we doing? and the answer is nothing! We are only striving to be obedient and follow the spirit and the Lord is providing. We owe all our success to Him. He wants His children to progress and He sure is blessing this lil town! We have an awesome lady named Ana who is so darling. We watched the restoration movie with her last night and she was so cute and said that she wanted to cry when Joseph had his vision. She accepted a baptismal date for jan 16 and we are stoked. One of our invest, Karla, is 20 and just had a baby and went to church for the 2nd time yesterday. She told us she feels like her faith is growing! She just needs to get married to her boyfriend or move out before she can get baptized. Others are progressing too and we are so excited.

Hey so this morn we went to the doc again and i had to do some poop tests! and then some blood work too. the results wont get here til Friday, sooo next Wednesday i will be meeting with the specialist again once these results are in. We went to the doctor last Wednesday and he says its not a good sign that my dad has colitis. THANKS DAD! hehe. he told me my intestines are not properly functioning...due to stress. so he told me they gotta do some more tests to figure things out. don't wanna scare yall...but just so ya know! the Doctor was not supper nice and it made me so sad haha. i have never been more scared in my life as i went into take xrays and what not of my stomach. I totes started crying there in the hospital to myself! just cause like when have i ever been to the hospital, for MYSELF: let alone here in argie without my mama. But the Lord is so generous and full of love. I have never been so scared/so comforted in one day! I know that all will be well. I love you all and know that i am working so dang hard. I am seeing myself grow with my investigators. Blake is right, that the Lord really does bless you at the end of your mission. physically, spiritually. The atonement is changing me little by little.

Pres Eyring said that as you serve others for Him (the Lord), He lets you feel His love. And in time, feeling of charity become part of your very nature.

It is oh so true. Let us all strive to have charity. Service is the best medicine.
I'm excited to sit down today and make some nice goals. I so badly want to put into practice what i am learning now into la vida normal after the mish. I love you all!

felicessss fiestas yo

hi guys. long time no talk ha ha.

hope yall have a verrrry murrry christmas! I love my fam oh so much, so fun talkin to yall and seeing that you're all the same, good ole farrow fam. I'm excited to try out the new hover board. Christmas sure is different on the mission, especially in argie! But it was such a good one. it was 99 degrees on Christmas day so that's always exciting! we spent the day with members and had fun fun. On Saturday we dedicated our day to talking with everyone and inviting everyone to church. we had 4 investigators come to church yesterday and our investigators and progressing! good things are happening! Today is a shortened pday and we will begin working around 3 pm instead of 6pm because Friday (news years day) will be like another pday. i think were going hiking on Friday so I'm excited!!!!

mama when you guys come we need to go to bariloche, so maybe you could look into some cool stuff like sailing or something like that hehe.

Life is goood! Very hard and it seems like just when all things are going right, more and more trials come up. I was reading the BOM last night and read 2 nephi 7:8-9. God is with us, He knows our hearts and has all power to heal and help. I love this goespel, it is oh so true.

Transfers yo

HIIIIII everyone!! Wow what a week it has been. I had my last ofical day iun Roca yesterday. I bore my testimony in sacrament meeting an it was so sad cause I just love all those people so much. Last week the Lord blessed us so much and we have an awesome new investogator named Valeria! All her fam are members but her and she totally has changed from the beginning to the time i was in roca til now. She basically put her own baptismal date for this upcoming saturday and she is so pumped! Shes just gotta get married real quick before hehe, but miracles will happen! SOOO my days in General Roca are over and Ive been transferred to proba my very last area, Rincon de los Sauces!!!! I literally am PUMPED. My comp is hna dandaluz from caaguazu, paraguay! scott do you know where that is?? shes so so great. she has 7 months in the mish. the whole district that was here was whitewashed, sooo we are alll brandnew here! We are so excited. Its just us 2 and the ZLs. The church is only 2 years old here and apparently this is the greatest and most successful part of the mish! woohoo. I literally feel so blessed to be here. Everyone in the mission is talking about this new change. When we got off the 5 hour bus ride, we were welcomed by the branch prez and his councelors!! The spirit is literally so strong here there are miracles awaiting this place. I am so exciteddddd! Haha. for reals

Okay so it is officially the worst thing in teh world leaving an area. Last night was soo sad leaving iara and silvana and that fam. I cried. like a baby and the spirit confirmed to me that i knew them before this life and promised i would find and try to help them. Silvana is still struggling with smoking, but i know she will get through it. I love them so so much. i cant believe how lucky i am that my parents are coming here so that i can go back and see them, and ever greater than that, that my parents will get to meet the people i love so much.

I love you all and im feeling so grateful in this Christmas time to have a savior. He literally has saved us from everything. i love Him and know He lives. Have a happy week :) cant believe ill be talkin to yall so soon on Christmas yipeeee

Hola mi fmailia come les va! I love you allllll! We had a real good weeek! We had interviews with pres and his wife on thursday and that was super good. He is such a sweet and INSPIRED man. One of my last interviews before i go home. x0 We also are working sooo so hard with Silvana so that she can reach her goal to be baptized this upcoming saturday. We have such GREAAAT and powerful lessons with her, but then it kinda goes in one ear out the other. But she is so amazing and wants to be baptized. Shes just gotta quit smokinnng. ah it is so challlenging! But we have so much faith in the Lord...that if she can just have it in her to quit, He will totally help her. She came to stake conference yesterday! It was a super goood meeting....but one of the members gave a talk on teh new change in the handbooks of the church with the gay marraige/baptising their kid. She was totally shocked i think and told us that theres a llot she needs to talk to us about when we visit her today. Sooo this morn in comp study we studied the law of chastity like crazy and how marriage is ordained of God.
We are doing good here in Roca. I love my comp and I know the Lord has put us together for a reason because we are soo different, but have basically the same problems/doubts/fears and we have been able to help eachother tons theese last few weeks. I love being a missionary. I think I say that in every email, but its true and I will miss saying that one day. Yesterday me and my comp were walkin in the street just saying how COOOL it is that we are the only 2 people in this part of argentina who have the authority to invite others to participate in the blessings of the atonement and one day have the greatest gift of eternal life. I wish I could just tell you evvverything thats happening and I know u want details mama but Im so excited to talk to yall on christmas to tell you some amazing experiences Ive had. I love you so much! Have a great week. oh yeah and we heard that there was like another shooting in the us? how sad. siggggns of the times am i right? lol

Cat Lady

me and my cat friend. sometimes animals are the only ones who like us :)
Hi you guys!!!!! Happy thanksgiving to my wonderful family. I love you all and I cant put into words the gratitude i have for my eternal family. Looks like you all enjoyed your turkey day!! We did too here!! We had a typical argentine lunch of meat and pasta. But then we decided to celebrate and bought ice cream when the day finished and brought it home and just feasted. Happy thankgiving to us!! This weeeek was a good one. My poor comp was sick a few days with a cold pobrecita. But we managed to work and get the work done. Our prayers were answered big time and 2 of our investigadors came to church! wooohoo. Yesterday was a good one. I love sundays. Also this week we met up with this girl Shea who is a foreign exchange student from San Fran area and shes LDS and in our ward. I love her and we are like best friends haha shes 15 but we get a long so well. Shes informing us on all the crazy stuff happening in the world and she couldn't believe we didn't know anything thats been happening! But we have been reading the BOM with her in ENGLISH! and it has been so much fun. It would be fun to be a missionary in the US. Makes me excited to share the gospel with my friends who speak english (all of them lol).

Also Ive been reading my patriarchal blessing a lot lately and its been so special to see some of these blessings already being fulfilled in my life and mission. I am so grateful to be here in Argentina. The things I am learning from the people and from the Lord are things I will treasure forever. There's nothing like being on the Lords errand. I love Him. I love you all and hope you have a happy week!

My comp shared a quote with me this week: It is better to walk with God in the darkness, than without Him in the light.

Happy Thanksgiving

HI family como andamos? Hope all is weelll! Dont have tooo much to report on this week but it was a good one! So this week there's been some esorrrow in roca cause there a big canal here that runs through the city and a 14 year old girl drowned this week :( so that was super sad, but hey maybe it will soften the hearts of the people and they'll be more receptive! Also other sadness, hna myers and hna flores (the other sisters in our zone) are on their way home on the plane right now cause they both have super bad problems with their heads and headaches and stuff. so thats such a bummer and now me and hna goodfellow are the only sisters in our zone haha. like u saw in the pic, we weren't allowed to leave the pension yesterday except for church and lunch with a member. It felt like a normal sunday at home, coming home after church an taking a nice long Sunday nap...super weird though. we found a few new investigators this week that have a lot of potencial! our plan is to work a lot more with the members in our ward so come to the lessons with us cause we know thats what helps our investigators progress. Silvana is still working on her goal to quit smokng and didn't come to church yesterday :( i was so bummmmed. But we have a great week planned ahead. I hope all is well at home and that you enjoy thanksgiving! it'd be nice if u guys would email me too hehe so i could know what going on with your lives! love you all so much. thanks for being the best fam and your your prayers. Jesus Christ lives and I am finding my testimony being strengthened on the daily. I am learning to love in a way i didnt think i could. the best medicine is serving others. when we think of ourselves, we aren't happy. we gotta get outa our comfort zone and serve. this is what i have learned and i am happy :)

hermana farrow
happpy birhtday hna myers! had a nice lil luncheon with the other sisters in our pension full of empanadas and salad

photo shoot on the roof

and us yesterday just watchin ephraims rescue cause we couldnt leave the pension except for church cause argentina had their elections yesterday! yay for new presidents

Happy Thanksgiving!

It felt like a normal sunday at home, coming home after church an taking a nice long sunday nap...super weird though.

We found a few new investigators this week that have a lot of potential! Our plan is to work a lot more with the members in our ward so they come to the lessons with us cause we know thats what helps our investigators progress. Silvana is still working on her goal to quit smoking and didn't come to church yesterday :(  I was so bummed. But we have a great week planned ahead.

I hope all is well at home and that you enjoy thanksgiving! It will  be nice if you guys would email me too hehe so I could know what going on with your lives! Love you all so much. Thanks for being the best family and your your prayers. Jesus Christ lives and I am finding my testimony being strengthened on the daily. I am learning to love in a way i didn't think i could. The best medicine is serving others. When we think of ourselves, we aren't happy. We gotta get outa our comfort zone and serve. This is what I have learned and I am happy :)

love,

Visions and Stuff

just me and my compi hermana goodfellow. shes such a good fellow i love her!

hI fam hows it goin! So I heard we are going into world war 3 or something? or at least thats what the Argentines tell us. haha. a bombing in France! oh no que triste. and osama bin laden or whatevs is alive? lol

okay. so we had a great week here! I absolutely love my companion. We just understand eachother so well and we are learning so much together. its great and we have so much fun preaching the good news! Missionary work is so fun.

We had such a sweet zone training on Tuesday! We all got the chance to share our testimonies to eachother, which is something that we usually dont do, well obvio everyday with everyone, but this time was different and so special.

We had a lesson with Silvana this week and we realized that we needed to focus on her needs, which included that she feeels she hasnt recieved an answer to her prayers if God reallly really exists, if the chruch is true all tht jazz. So we decided to pray with her right there in her home. She said the prayer, we thought she was gunna say it out loud but she did a personal one in her heart. We sat there for a good 5-6 mins in silence, and i was just prayyyying like crazy that she would recieve an answer of feel something! So after the 5 mins, she said amen and opened up her eyes and just had the biggest smile on her face! She kept saying "que lindo, que lindo". She told us that the scene in the movie of when Christ appears to Mary at the tomb came to her mind, and that she had an overwhelming love for these 2 people in that moment. Literally the most beautiful spirit was there and it was such a testimony builder to me that when we truly are humble and with real desires, God always answers. We helped Silvana recognize this as her answer. She then told us that she believes the church is true. MIRACLESSSSSS. so sweeeet! She has a looot to do to prepare for her baptism, but nothing is impossible. BTW, mom and dad and fam, silvana says hi to you all! haha. Cant wait for mom and dad to meet her! I love her so much.

We also had such a cool experience with a lil old grandma on the street yesterday. we basically taught her lesson 1 in the street and she didn't seem toooo interested. But then we started sharing joseph smiths story with her and recited the first vision, and she just started crying. She told us that she had seen that same vision before many years ago, not god and Christ, buit had seen j mith praying in the forest.it was so COOL and we invited her to be baptised and she said she needs to ask her husband hehe. but wow we have seen so many miracles these past few days. Miracles are real! I wish you all the greatest week! Love you so so much.

Well hi you guys!

Feliz halloween last week! Best costume goes to the SWAT man, my lil guy Cammy! and lil piggy Em too!

Well today starts the mark of my 3rd to last transfer here in the mish. Ohh transfers. Went to bed at 2 am last night helping my compie pack. She's off and it was sad sayin bye, buuuut my new comp is Hermana Goodfellow!! we were in the MTC together and she's one of my bffs in the mish! We are so pumped. I love my area and super happy to be here still. SOOOO things that happened this week. I dyed my hair. Its kinda super dark #woops. but whatevs now i fit in with my argentine people. We are working a lot with Silvana, Lara´s mama. I love her.  Little  by lil the Lord is softening her heart. She came to a relief society dinner that the young women put on and she loved it. When I fasted for fast sunday, I was planning on fasting for other investigators we have, but during my prayer I felt impressed to fast for Silvana, that she can have desires to change and give up her habits. Last night we went over to their house so hna llamo could say bye and it literaly was so sad. Hna Llamo bore her testimony to her and the fam. We read Mosiah 27 and explained that even Alma the younger, one of the most violest of sinners was able to have a change of heart and recieve a remission of his sins. Hna llamo gave a lil goodbye testimony, and said that Silvana would one day enter to the temple with her family. When she said that, the spirit seriously hit my like a ton of bricks and confirmed to me that yes, onnnne day she will!! I wasnt even the one saying goodbye yesterday, but I was totes a baby and cried when hna llamo was saying bye to them. My prayers have been answered time after time, because the Lord has blessed me with an imense LOVE for these people. I am learning a lot about the gift of charity. I never knew that I would be capable of doing the things I am doing. But I am learnign so much, i learn from my mistakes every day and I am striving to be my best.

I hope you have a wonderful week! Hey and real soooon we´ll all be skyping woooo! Love you mi familia eterna. How cool is it that we are an eternal family?

Happiness

Oct. 19, 2015

Well hi family how are you all!

I had a fantastic week! Lara was baptized on saturday and it was the most beautiful baptism! Seriously such a sweet and special spirit was there and is something I will remember forever.  She comes from a huuuuge fam of like 8 brothers and sisters, so she invited them all! Seriously the biggest turn out at a baptism I've ever seen in argentina haha. We have a lot of awesome future investigators! The family loved it and are all so proud of Lara! I love her so much. So amazing to see the our hard exhausting work eventually pays off into the most incredible moments.

Thats probs all im gunna say now about this week! We are sure working  hard here in Roca. I love being a missionary and weird to think one day I'll actually not be a full time missionary. How sad. But its okay I still got a while left! The craziest things happen here everyday hahaha like yesterday we were just walking in the street and this man comes up to us and starts preaching to us. He told us the spirit led him to us and then he told me that I was a prophet...and he told me that he knows I have pain in my lower back (either he reads minds or a really good guess cause that was so true haha) and so he "anointed" me hahaha oh man I was trying so hard to be serious. We asked if we could leave him with a prayer...so i said it and then he put his hands on our shoulders during my prayer and he started speaking another language. so that was cool! hahaha oh man he also told my comp she has a broken heart, but that he could help heal it if she wanted.

The best days are spent in this holy land of argentina! I love it and i love all you! thanks for being the most supportive and amazing fam. Hey mama it was mothers day here yesterday and made me miss ya a lil more than i already do! Know that i love u mommy! Have a fantastic week

Hi famila como andan todos?!

Hope all is well! This has been a great week for us here on the bottom of the world. To cut to the chase, i absolutely loved conference! So so awesome and passed by way too fast! SO cool seeing the new apostles being called and I received a witness from the spirit after each one of them spoke that they, indeed are called of God. Our poor Prophet is getting older :( He is so great and I loved the scripture he used, be thou an example of the believers. One of my fave talks was Pres uchtdorfs...its so true that sometimes we just make everything so complicated! It doesn't need to be like that, the gospel is simple and we can be simple too. I also loved Elder Hollands about the mothers. Made me miss my mama, but made me so proud to have a mother who is the most caring and perfect mother for me, the greatest example of a strong testimony and unending love for her family. Made me think of my sis sissy Brittany and her love for her children...the kind of mama I want to be one day!

Speaking of mom and kids and stuff...this week one of our investigators, Rosario, had her baby boy this week! She didn't have anyone to come help her in the hospital, so she asked us to come. Rosario was in so much pain and was not doing to well and couldn't care for her own baby. SO i got the chance to hold this perfect lil newborn just 3 hours after he was born! Just so precious and sweet. Made me baby hungry haha. jk. See pics below hehe. His name is Francisco!

Also, Lara is planning on getting baptized on saturday! Her dad comes into town this week and then she will ask his permission. SHe came to all 4 sessions of general conference. She's basically already a member and such a sweet girl. I didn't even listen to all 4 sessions back at home! She's so awesome. Her bro Miyen is 17 and he started showing more interest this week in listening to us! He totally surprised us and came to sat morn session! Tears welled up in my eyes and I was so happy to see him! Iaras mom also came sunday afternoon! Woohoo! Speaking of sunday afternoon, shoutout to elder haynie! Such a good talk I loved it. We had this awesome idea this week...our ward doesn't have very cute baptismal clothes for girls, so we are gunna use my companions talents (she worked as a seamstress person before the mish) and we are going to make a lil dress for her baptism! we bought the fabric today :)) yay for learning new things.

Good things are happening here. We are seeing progress and the help of our father in heaven everyday! I sure love you all! PLease keep Lara in your prayers and that her dad will give her the approval to be baptized!! Talk to y'all next week!
