hi guys. long time no talk ha ha.
hope yall have a verrrry murrry christmas! I love my fam oh so much, so fun talkin to yall and seeing that you're all the same, good ole farrow fam. I'm excited to try out the new hover board. Christmas sure is different on the mission, especially in argie! But it was such a good one. it was 99 degrees on Christmas day so that's always exciting! we spent the day with members and had fun fun. On Saturday we dedicated our day to talking with everyone and inviting everyone to church. we had 4 investigators come to church yesterday and our investigators and progressing! good things are happening! Today is a shortened pday and we will begin working around 3 pm instead of 6pm because Friday (news years day) will be like another pday. i think were going hiking on Friday so I'm excited!!!!
mama when you guys come we need to go to bariloche, so maybe you could look into some cool stuff like sailing or something like that hehe.
Life is goood! Very hard and it seems like just when all things are going right, more and more trials come up. I was reading the BOM last night and read 2 nephi 7:8-9. God is with us, He knows our hearts and has all power to heal and help. I love this goespel, it is oh so true.

Transfers yo
HIIIIII everyone!! Wow what a week it has been. I had my last ofical day iun Roca yesterday. I bore my testimony in sacrament meeting an it was so sad cause I just love all those people so much. Last week the Lord blessed us so much and we have an awesome new investogator named Valeria! All her fam are members but her and she totally has changed from the beginning to the time i was in roca til now. She basically put her own baptismal date for this upcoming saturday and she is so pumped! Shes just gotta get married real quick before hehe, but miracles will happen! SOOO my days in General Roca are over and Ive been transferred to proba my very last area, Rincon de los Sauces!!!! I literally am PUMPED. My comp is hna dandaluz from caaguazu, paraguay! scott do you know where that is?? shes so so great. she has 7 months in the mish. the whole district that was here was whitewashed, sooo we are alll brandnew here! We are so excited. Its just us 2 and the ZLs. The church is only 2 years old here and apparently this is the greatest and most successful part of the mish! woohoo. I literally feel so blessed to be here. Everyone in the mission is talking about this new change. When we got off the 5 hour bus ride, we were welcomed by the branch prez and his councelors!! The spirit is literally so strong here there are miracles awaiting this place. I am so exciteddddd! Haha. for reals
Okay so it is officially the worst thing in teh world leaving an area. Last night was soo sad leaving iara and silvana and that fam. I cried. like a baby and the spirit confirmed to me that i knew them before this life and promised i would find and try to help them. Silvana is still struggling with smoking, but i know she will get through it. I love them so so much. i cant believe how lucky i am that my parents are coming here so that i can go back and see them, and ever greater than that, that my parents will get to meet the people i love so much.
I love you all and im feeling so grateful in this Christmas time to have a savior. He literally has saved us from everything. i love Him and know He lives. Have a happy week :) cant believe ill be talkin to yall so soon on Christmas yipeeee

Hola mi fmailia come les va! I love you allllll! We had a real good weeek! We had interviews with pres and his wife on thursday and that was super good. He is such a sweet and INSPIRED man. One of my last interviews before i go home. x0 We also are working sooo so hard with Silvana so that she can reach her goal to be baptized this upcoming saturday. We have such GREAAAT and powerful lessons with her, but then it kinda goes in one ear out the other. But she is so amazing and wants to be baptized. Shes just gotta quit smokinnng. ah it is so challlenging! But we have so much faith in the Lord...that if she can just have it in her to quit, He will totally help her. She came to stake conference yesterday! It was a super goood meeting....but one of the members gave a talk on teh new change in the handbooks of the church with the gay marraige/baptising their kid. She was totally shocked i think and told us that theres a llot she needs to talk to us about when we visit her today. Sooo this morn in comp study we studied the law of chastity like crazy and how marriage is ordained of God.
We are doing good here in Roca. I love my comp and I know the Lord has put us together for a reason because we are soo different, but have basically the same problems/doubts/fears and we have been able to help eachother tons theese last few weeks. I love being a missionary. I think I say that in every email, but its true and I will miss saying that one day. Yesterday me and my comp were walkin in the street just saying how COOOL it is that we are the only 2 people in this part of argentina who have the authority to invite others to participate in the blessings of the atonement and one day have the greatest gift of eternal life. I wish I could just tell you evvverything thats happening and I know u want details mama but Im so excited to talk to yall on christmas to tell you some amazing experiences Ive had. I love you so much! Have a great week. oh yeah and we heard that there was like another shooting in the us? how sad. siggggns of the times am i right? lol

Cat Lady
me and my cat friend. sometimes animals are the only ones who like us :) |
Also Ive been reading my patriarchal blessing a lot lately and its been so special to see some of these blessings already being fulfilled in my life and mission. I am so grateful to be here in Argentina. The things I am learning from the people and from the Lord are things I will treasure forever. There's nothing like being on the Lords errand. I love Him. I love you all and hope you have a happy week!
My comp shared a quote with me this week: It is better to walk with God in the darkness, than without Him in the light.

Happy Thanksgiving
HI family como andamos? Hope all is weelll! Dont have tooo much to report on this week but it was a good one! So this week there's been some esorrrow in roca cause there a big canal here that runs through the city and a 14 year old girl drowned this week :( so that was super sad, but hey maybe it will soften the hearts of the people and they'll be more receptive! Also other sadness, hna myers and hna flores (the other sisters in our zone) are on their way home on the plane right now cause they both have super bad problems with their heads and headaches and stuff. so thats such a bummer and now me and hna goodfellow are the only sisters in our zone haha. like u saw in the pic, we weren't allowed to leave the pension yesterday except for church and lunch with a member. It felt like a normal sunday at home, coming home after church an taking a nice long Sunday nap...super weird though. we found a few new investigators this week that have a lot of potencial! our plan is to work a lot more with the members in our ward so come to the lessons with us cause we know thats what helps our investigators progress. Silvana is still working on her goal to quit smokng and didn't come to church yesterday :( i was so bummmmed. But we have a great week planned ahead. I hope all is well at home and that you enjoy thanksgiving! it'd be nice if u guys would email me too hehe so i could know what going on with your lives! love you all so much. thanks for being the best fam and your your prayers. Jesus Christ lives and I am finding my testimony being strengthened on the daily. I am learning to love in a way i didnt think i could. the best medicine is serving others. when we think of ourselves, we aren't happy. we gotta get outa our comfort zone and serve. this is what i have learned and i am happy :)

hI fam hows it goin! So I heard we are going into world war 3 or something? or at least thats what the Argentines tell us. haha. a bombing in France! oh no que triste. and osama bin laden or whatevs is alive? lol
okay. so we had a great week here! I absolutely love my companion. We just understand eachother so well and we are learning so much together. its great and we have so much fun preaching the good news! Missionary work is so fun.
We had such a sweet zone training on Tuesday! We all got the chance to share our testimonies to eachother, which is something that we usually dont do, well obvio everyday with everyone, but this time was different and so special.
We had a lesson with Silvana this week and we realized that we needed to focus on her needs, which included that she feeels she hasnt recieved an answer to her prayers if God reallly really exists, if the chruch is true all tht jazz. So we decided to pray with her right there in her home. She said the prayer, we thought she was gunna say it out loud but she did a personal one in her heart. We sat there for a good 5-6 mins in silence, and i was just prayyyying like crazy that she would recieve an answer of feel something! So after the 5 mins, she said amen and opened up her eyes and just had the biggest smile on her face! She kept saying "que lindo, que lindo". She told us that the scene in the movie of when Christ appears to Mary at the tomb came to her mind, and that she had an overwhelming love for these 2 people in that moment. Literally the most beautiful spirit was there and it was such a testimony builder to me that when we truly are humble and with real desires, God always answers. We helped Silvana recognize this as her answer. She then told us that she believes the church is true. MIRACLESSSSSS. so sweeeet! She has a looot to do to prepare for her baptism, but nothing is impossible. BTW, mom and dad and fam, silvana says hi to you all! haha. Cant wait for mom and dad to meet her! I love her so much.
We also had such a cool experience with a lil old grandma on the street yesterday. we basically taught her lesson 1 in the street and she didn't seem toooo interested. But then we started sharing joseph smiths story with her and recited the first vision, and she just started crying. She told us that she had seen that same vision before many years ago, not god and Christ, buit had seen j mith praying in the forest.it was so COOL and we invited her to be baptised and she said she needs to ask her husband hehe. but wow we have seen so many miracles these past few days. Miracles are real! I wish you all the greatest week! Love you so so much.

Well hi you guys!
Feliz halloween last week! Best costume goes to the SWAT man, my lil guy Cammy! and lil piggy Em too!
Well today starts the mark of my 3rd to last transfer here in the mish. Ohh transfers. Went to bed at 2 am last night helping my compie pack. She's off and it was sad sayin bye, buuuut my new comp is Hermana Goodfellow!! we were in the MTC together and she's one of my bffs in the mish! We are so pumped. I love my area and super happy to be here still. SOOOO things that happened this week. I dyed my hair. Its kinda super dark #woops. but whatevs now i fit in with my argentine people. We are working a lot with Silvana, Lara´s mama. I love her. Little by lil the Lord is softening her heart. She came to a relief society dinner that the young women put on and she loved it. When I fasted for fast sunday, I was planning on fasting for other investigators we have, but during my prayer I felt impressed to fast for Silvana, that she can have desires to change and give up her habits. Last night we went over to their house so hna llamo could say bye and it literaly was so sad. Hna Llamo bore her testimony to her and the fam. We read Mosiah 27 and explained that even Alma the younger, one of the most violest of sinners was able to have a change of heart and recieve a remission of his sins. Hna llamo gave a lil goodbye testimony, and said that Silvana would one day enter to the temple with her family. When she said that, the spirit seriously hit my like a ton of bricks and confirmed to me that yes, onnnne day she will!! I wasnt even the one saying goodbye yesterday, but I was totes a baby and cried when hna llamo was saying bye to them. My prayers have been answered time after time, because the Lord has blessed me with an imense LOVE for these people. I am learning a lot about the gift of charity. I never knew that I would be capable of doing the things I am doing. But I am learnign so much, i learn from my mistakes every day and I am striving to be my best.
I hope you have a wonderful week! Hey and real soooon we´ll all be skyping woooo! Love you mi familia eterna. How cool is it that we are an eternal family?

Happiness
Oct. 19, 2015
Well hi family how are you all!
I had a fantastic week! Lara was baptized on saturday and it was the most beautiful baptism! Seriously such a sweet and special spirit was there and is something I will remember forever. She comes from a huuuuge fam of like 8 brothers and sisters, so she invited them all! Seriously the biggest turn out at a baptism I've ever seen in argentina haha. We have a lot of awesome future investigators! The family loved it and are all so proud of Lara! I love her so much. So amazing to see the our hard exhausting work eventually pays off into the most incredible moments.
Thats probs all im gunna say now about this week! We are sure working hard here in Roca. I love being a missionary and weird to think one day I'll actually not be a full time missionary. How sad. But its okay I still got a while left! The craziest things happen here everyday hahaha like yesterday we were just walking in the street and this man comes up to us and starts preaching to us. He told us the spirit led him to us and then he told me that I was a prophet...and he told me that he knows I have pain in my lower back (either he reads minds or a really good guess cause that was so true haha) and so he "anointed" me hahaha oh man I was trying so hard to be serious. We asked if we could leave him with a prayer...so i said it and then he put his hands on our shoulders during my prayer and he started speaking another language. so that was cool! hahaha oh man he also told my comp she has a broken heart, but that he could help heal it if she wanted.
The best days are spent in this holy land of argentina! I love it and i love all you! thanks for being the most supportive and amazing fam. Hey mama it was mothers day here yesterday and made me miss ya a lil more than i already do! Know that i love u mommy! Have a fantastic week

Hi famila como andan todos?!
Hope all is well! This has been a great week for us here on the bottom of the world. To cut to the chase, i absolutely loved conference! So so awesome and passed by way too fast! SO cool seeing the new apostles being called and I received a witness from the spirit after each one of them spoke that they, indeed are called of God. Our poor Prophet is getting older :( He is so great and I loved the scripture he used, be thou an example of the believers. One of my fave talks was Pres uchtdorfs...its so true that sometimes we just make everything so complicated! It doesn't need to be like that, the gospel is simple and we can be simple too. I also loved Elder Hollands about the mothers. Made me miss my mama, but made me so proud to have a mother who is the most caring and perfect mother for me, the greatest example of a strong testimony and unending love for her family. Made me think of my sis sissy Brittany and her love for her children...the kind of mama I want to be one day!
Speaking of mom and kids and stuff...this week one of our investigators, Rosario, had her baby boy this week! She didn't have anyone to come help her in the hospital, so she asked us to come. Rosario was in so much pain and was not doing to well and couldn't care for her own baby. SO i got the chance to hold this perfect lil newborn just 3 hours after he was born! Just so precious and sweet. Made me baby hungry haha. jk. See pics below hehe. His name is Francisco!
Also, Lara is planning on getting baptized on saturday! Her dad comes into town this week and then she will ask his permission. SHe came to all 4 sessions of general conference. She's basically already a member and such a sweet girl. I didn't even listen to all 4 sessions back at home! She's so awesome. Her bro Miyen is 17 and he started showing more interest this week in listening to us! He totally surprised us and came to sat morn session! Tears welled up in my eyes and I was so happy to see him! Iaras mom also came sunday afternoon! Woohoo! Speaking of sunday afternoon, shoutout to elder haynie! Such a good talk I loved it. We had this awesome idea this week...our ward doesn't have very cute baptismal clothes for girls, so we are gunna use my companions talents (she worked as a seamstress person before the mish) and we are going to make a lil dress for her baptism! we bought the fabric today :)) yay for learning new things.
Good things are happening here. We are seeing progress and the help of our father in heaven everyday! I sure love you all! PLease keep Lara in your prayers and that her dad will give her the approval to be baptized!! Talk to y'all next week!

JK about the subject, i just thought it was appropriate cause septembers almost done lol. BUT HEY GUYS!!! how yall doing. We had such a GREAT week here in Roca. For reals I believe one of the best in my mission. But before I get any further...happpppy birthday to my beautiful sissy Brittt! Oh how I love you sister and hope you had the most special day! #26años
SO about this week!! We have 3 new greenies in our district and it is so FUN! ones from mexico and 2 from utah. So crazy to think that just a lil year ago i was in the same boat as these kids and couldn't speak nada. We are super pumped as a district to work together! We also had a huge stake activity here in roca and watched meet the mormons in a big theater! it was such a success and tons of investigators came so thats epic.
But the best thing that happened is this. SO Iara was supposed to be baptized on saturday right...well that did not happen but its totally fine because her dad is out of town traveling but is coming in a few weeks, and she wants her dad to be there for her baptism! So this will be good so she can be even more prepared than she already is! But heres the thing. Her mom is Silvana and she is so great. We had a lesson with her this week and the spirit was so there. We talked about temples and the young womens pres of the ward was there too and shared such a beautiful testimony with Iara and silvana. So we invited silvana to church on sunday. She was super hesitant to say yes cause she works allll night long saturday night and doesn't get home till 7 AM on sunday mornin..and church is at 9:30. But we made a promise with her that through this sacrifice she would literally be able to see a difference in her week and that she would be so blessed. She accepted!! SO sunday morning we decided to whip up some banana bread and went to their house at 8 am to have breakfast with silvana so that she wouldn't go to sleep! We ate and then us 4 were off to church. It was such a perfect sunday and she loved it. We have a lesson with them tonight again and we are so pumped. Silvana has a few problems like smoking and works at a club, but is such a great mom and person. I love her! So excited to see her progress.
Guys I just love being a missionary. I cant even describe it. I have the most amazing spiritual experiences every day that just lift me up and make me so happy. Yesterday we were walking home from church to eat lunch and we walked passed this homeless man. I got this prompting to turn back and talk to him...but I totally started thinking otherwise, thinking that he was only gunna ask for money like others do. But I followed the spirit and we turned around. His name is Jorge! We gave him a pass along card with a pic of Christ. We started talking to him and he had tears in his eyes. We got his address and invited him to church and then I asked if there was anything we could do for him..and he grabbed my hand and buried his face in it and started balling. It was such a beautiful moment. He didn't say much, but we all felt so peaceful and the love of our Heavenly Father. Im so grateful I was strong enough to follow that prompting to turn around. I love this work and love meeting Gods children each day. WHat a blessing it is so be in the service of our Lord and King.
Have a great week and I hope you all enjoy general conference! Hey and shout out to elder haynie thats so sweet he gets to speak.
Love hermana farrow
Ps: be a seeker of happiness Alma 27:18
pps: I went to the doctor for myself for the first time in my whole mission on wednesday this week...turns out my intestines are enflamed haha. So i was on a pretty gnarly diet this week of eating only rice, jello, mashed up squash, gatorade and water. I felt like i was eating baby food the whole time. And im taking some meds. but the pain has gone away a lot and i feel much better! I go again to the doc tomorrow but im am doing a lot better so no need to worry!! #intestinosenflamados
and brittany, gabi and camila wish you a very happy birthday!!!

Roca Happenings!
Sept. 14, 2015
HI fam!!
Happy first day of school to my hermanos bails chels and blakey! so exciting you guys are little students! how fun. Well what a great week I had here. Good things are happening! Ya know our investigator Iara, the cute 12 year old girl, well she went to church again yesterday and is progressing very nicely for her baptism on the 26. we are so excited and I love her so much. Walking home from church yesterday, she told me and my comp she wants to serve a mission one day. music to my ears. she's so great. So the only thing that could possibly impede her baptism is her mama. her mom is so great, but she knows that baptism is a responsibility. We invited her and the mom to a ward FHE last night...and i was kinda hesitant for the mom to come cause usually FHEs are not the greatest, or not planned very well, or like no one comes haha. But I just prayed and prayed that she would enjoy it and at least be able to feel the spirit and feel something different about being inside the church. These prayers were sure answered! The turnout was so great and the sister who taught the lesson taught about families and literally the night was so perfect!! I was in awe and miracles are real. She told us she loved it and is excited to come to the ward talent show that we are planning on saturday! wooohoooo!
On saturday night we got invited to have dinner with our new investigators, Belen and Marcos and their 2 daughters! Which is like so cool cause we rarely get invited for dinners! Belen made canalones! (basically my fave food here). So it was all going well. And then some comments were made between them and then they just totally started fighting! :( like legit yelling at each other and they both were crying. Me and my comp were just sitting there with their 9 and 6 year old daughters. It was so sad. I honestly did not know what else to say except that Jesus can help their relationship! because I don't know! my parents have never had huge fights.... haha but my comp said some nice inspired stuff. It broke my heart to see all this happening in front of their lil daughters. But the good thing is Marcos and Belen really like us and want us to come back. SO cool the trust that they already have in us. We will see how this week goes with them! Also, remember how I said that I wanted to be a "counselor" after the mish....from this experience I don't know if that is still something that I want to do haha. But who knows!
OKay so we are already in our last week of this transfer. Cannot believe have fast these weeks have flown by here in Roca. We had interviews with president last week! It was just a nice short interview but went really well. So different with a latino pres, cause it was all in spanish! But hey guys i am doing good and pressin on. The days are long but weeks, transfers, months, and now YEARS are short. I love it here despite all the crazy things that we see and experience! Keep Iara and her mom Silvana in your prayers! I love you all y espero que tengan una semana llena de sonrisas y arcoiris haha. Les amo mas que saben.

Hola como estan queridos! This week was real good! Tuesday was "el dia de Roca" (it was our citys birthday) so there was a huge parade throughout the city and then at night a big concert. Iv e never seen more people in the street here probs because they are all usually sleeping the siesta haha. We live like right in centro so we heard the concert all night long and obvio we couldn't sleep...especially when the fireworks started going off at midnight!! So obvi we had to run up to our roof to take pics. So fun #happybdayroca
On Wednesday we left super early and bussed it to Neuquen. Elder Texeira from the 70 came! Like 75% of the whole mission was there so it was so packed. Before the actual conference, we had a meeting with just the zone leaders and sis training leaders and him and his wife. It was So SWEEET and we all sat at a table talking and I sat right across from him and he was literally staring into my eyes and preaching into my soul. haha but it was so special just to be in a lil room with about 20 missionaries, our president, and him! The spirit was so strong and he totes dropped the cane on obedience. He actually slammed his hand on th table. it was kinda scary haha. He is such a cool guy and I received a lot of personal revelation during this conference. So fun seeing other companions and missionaries too!
Oh yeah my comp had lice this week and so my head was so itchy this whole week but turns out it was just my mind playing tricks on me cause I didn't have it. But we will seeeee because our investigator Iara has lice too! uh ohh. but she doesn't know she has it, my comp saw it roamin around in her hair yesterday. oh boy. speaking of Iara, she came to church again yesterday and is totes progressing and so great. We taught her plan of salvation and she loved it. She bought us mini bible keychains and wrote us the sweetest little note saying "thank you for teaching me about Jesus" and other cute stuff. We are teaching her the gospel of Christ tonight!!
Tonight after the lesson we will be taking a bus to Villa Regina and go on exchanges with sisters over there. Exchanges are great...I think I learn more from the other sisters than they might from me. Being an hna leader is fun, a lot of work, and drama, but fun!
I sure love you all! Cant believe summer is finally coming to an end for you all and you'll be headed up to school this week! Gooood luck with everything. that'
I found this quote this week and thought id share it, might help someone who reads this letter "We often talk in church about coming unto Christ. Perhaps we should talk more about how Christ also comes to us. We sing "Who's on the Lords side? Who?" Let us also sing "Be still my soul, the Lord is on thy side". We never have more value in the Lords sight than when we are feeling completely worthless."
I know this is the truth! We are so loved. The Savior of the world is on our team, how can we fail?! Have a great week guys i sure love and miss you!

Hi guys! so it has been a goood week. SO hate to break it to ya, but we did not have any baptisms. BUT HEY its alll goood!! Seriously these people will be baptized here in the next few weeks. Claudio is slowly gaining a testimony of Joseph Smith and the BOM. He actually went to have a baptismal interview with our district leader, but he didn't pass bc he smoked that day. But it actually was a tender mercy that he did, because we want him to have a solid testimony before he is baptized. The lil girl Pricilla will be baptized in like 2 weeks!
This week we were so blessed to find this girl named Lara! She literally is an angel and una investigadora de oro. She's 12 and one day this week we were walking in the street and she ran up to us and asked if we were from the church. She invited us in and made us pizza haha and we taught a ll about God and Jesus Christ and she totes wants to be baptized. Her fam is so great and hopefully will give her permission to do it! She came to have a lil tour of the chapel on Saturday with us, and then on Sunday she came to stake conference and loved it! We put a baptismal date with her for Brits birthday! the 26 of sept hehe! SUper stoked she's awesome.
On wednesday we will be heading to Neuquen to hear elder Teixeira speak to our misison! he's from the 70 and so that will be sick. Im so excited to see all my mission pals too!!
Yesterday we helped a recent covert in our ward named Alejandra make emapanadas to sell! We made 12 dozen! Im a pro and will be fun to help you all fall in love with empanadas, they're addicting. But yeah I am doing real good! The ward is all heading off to Buenos Aires tomorrow for they're annual temple trip!! They are all so excited. WHat a blessing it is for us to be able to drive 30 mins to the temple. They take a 14 hour bus ride. I love you all and wish you a happpy week! and HAPPY BDAY KEVLARRR on the 4th! love you poops! you da best dad iv e ever had.
Love,
Hermana Farrow
